Family holidays in the Seychelles
So why is the Seychelles so fantastic for families?
Firstly is a very safe country with a huge focus on tourism making sure you and your children are extremely welcome.
The year round warm weather, shallow turquoise water, ideal for paddling, and soft white sand sets up the most perfect family holiday.
We highly recommend if it is your first visit to the Seychelles, you base your family stay on Mahe or Praslin. This will mean you have much less travelling time and also the hotels on these two main islands tend to be much more children friendly with more activities.
Outdoor adventures for children are plentiful. From your hotel, snorkel straight off the beach or build sandcastles. Visit national parks and botanical gardens. Boat trips are easy to arrange and we highly recommend a day trip to La Digue, hire cycles and explore the traffic free island at your leisure admiring the stunning boulder peppered beaches and giant tortoises.
